The Merritt Oilers softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Hooker Bulldogs to 0 in the Oilers non-league win on Thursday.

The Oilers now sport a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kiowa for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Merritt will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Tushka (Atoka, OK). The Cowboys record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Hooker moves to 8-11 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Guymon (Guymon, OK) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 23. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 11-14.
