In Thursday's non-league test, the Troy-Buchanan Trojans (Troy, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO), by a tally of 9-2.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs (St. Peters, MO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 21. Troy-Buchanan will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-7 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO).

The Spartans (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Rock Bridge held off Camdenton (Camdenton, MO), 3-1, in a non-league test.
