With the triumph, Verdigris upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year. The Cardinals host Grove (Grove, OK) to play the Ridgerunners in a non-league game on Friday, September 20. The Ridgerunners enter the game with a record of 11-7. Grove won 15-1 in their recent non-league game against Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Sallisaw for a non-league game on Thursday, September 19. Lincoln Christian will play a Black Diamonds squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Muldrow (Muldrow, OK). The Black Diamonds record now stands at 3-16.
