In Thursday's non-league test, the Milan Wildcats (Milan, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Putnam County Midgets (Unionville, MO), by a tally of 7-1.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Brookfield Bulldogs (Brookfield, MO) in a Class 2 District 16 test, on Tuesday, September 24. Milan will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Gallatin (Gallatin, MO).

The Midgets (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Schuyler County was routed by Knox County (Edina, MO), 16-5, in a non-league test.
