The Mount Vernon Mustangs softball squad (Atlanta, GA), was routed 9-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA)
With the triumph, Wesleyan improves its record to 17-1 on the year. The Wolves host Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 25. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 8-8.
The Mustangs now hold a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Temple for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 21. Mount Vernon will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.
