The Starr's Mill Panthers triumphed over the host Mundy's Mill Tigers softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) in a 4A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Starr's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 19-0 league win over Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).
The Tigers (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Griffin (Griffin, GA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Griffin overcame Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA), 13-2, in a league challenge.
