Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Rockdale County improves its record to 7-15 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Newton (Covington, GA) to face the Rams in a 6A Region 4 game on Tuesday, September 24. The Rams enter the game with a record of 7-13. Newton lost 9-0 in their recent league game against Archer (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Comets now hold a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Archer for a 6A Region 4 game on Monday, September 23. South Gwinnett will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 19-2.
