South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), 22-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Atlanta improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Hornets host Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA) to face the Wolverines in a 2A Region 6 game on Tuesday, September 24. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 11-2. Miller Grove won 15-0 in their recent league game against Redan (Stone Mountain, GA)

The Seminoles now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Lithonia for a non-league game on Monday, September 23. Salem will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 28-4 non-league win over Tucker (Tucker, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-13.
