Shawnee Redskins (Wolf Lake, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Shawnee advances its record to 5-6 on the season. The Redskins travel to Egyptian (Tamms, IL) to face the Pharaohs in a South Egyptian test on Tuesday, September 24. The Pharaohs go into the test with a record of 3-4.

The Knights now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tournament Opponent for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Agape Christian will face a squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dickson County (Dickson, TN). The record now stands at 46-121.
