In Thursday's league challenge, the host Brookville Bees volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.

The Bees (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Seminole challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson Forest edged Glass (Lynchburg, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Amherst County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
