The Berwick Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Assumption Mustangs to 1 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Thibodaux for a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. Berwick will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Assumption drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 11-3. Lafayette Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)
