In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Athens Indians volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Pittsford Wildcats.

The Indians (6-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Mendon (Mendon, MI). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Mendon beat North Adams-Jerome (North Adams, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Hillsdale Academy Colts (Hillsdale, MI) in a Southern Central challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Pittsford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI).
