Ohio High School Volleyball - Monroe Central over Barnesville

The Monroe Central Seminoles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Barnesville Shamrocks to 1 in the Seminoles league triumph on Thursday.

The Seminoles now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeling Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. Monroe Central will play a Maroon Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Barnesville drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to play the Zeps in a Pioneer Valley outing on Monday, September 23. The Zeps come into the outing with a record of 8-6.
