Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Tunstall advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA) to face the Phoenix in a Piedmont test on Tuesday, September 24. The Phoenix go into the test with a record of 5-4. Mecklenburg County lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)

The Bengals now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Bassett will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-4.
