Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ) and the host Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ), observed Bergen Tech's volleyball team hold off Fair Lawn by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wallington (Wallington, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Wallington got by Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), 2-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Cutters meet the Fort Lee Bridgemen (Fort Lee, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 20. Fair Lawn will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Bridgemen enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ).
