The Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Camden County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 25.

With the loss, Bertie drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Four Rivers 1A bout on Tuesday, September 24.
