Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees (Bardstown, KY) and the visiting Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY), observed Bethlehem's volleyball team top Washington County by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles/Banshees (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Scott (Covington, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Scott notched a victory over Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Commanders battle the Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Washington County will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 15-7 record after their 3-1 non-league win over North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY).
