Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Boyd County improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Lions travel to South Point (South Point, OH) to face the Pointers in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Pointers go into the test with a record of 6-6.

The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ironton for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Fairview will face a Fighting Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Fighting Tigers record now stands at 2-8.
