Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI) and the host Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI), observed Cadillac's volleyball team hold off Petoskey by a count of 3-2.

The Vikings (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Redmen enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Marquette was tipped by Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 3-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Petoskey drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Northmen travel to Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Big Rapids won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lake City (Lake City, MI)
