In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cedar Grove Saints volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Therrell Panthers.
The Saints (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Eagles enter the 3A Area 5 challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, North Clayton was beaten by Bremen (Bremen, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Therrell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Bears enter the challenge with a 19-15 record after their 2-0 league win over Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA).
