The Coronado Leopards volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Walatowa Charter Cougars to 0 in the Leopards league triumph on Thursday.

The Leopards now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Dexter for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. Coronado will clash with a Demons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hagerman (Hagerman, NM). The Demons record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Walatowa Charter drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A District 7 outing on Friday, October 18. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 0-6.
