Virginia High School Volleyball - James Monroe overwhelmed by Courtland

Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Courtland improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA) to face the Cyclones in a Battlefield test on Tuesday, September 24. The Cyclones go into the test with a record of 3-4. Eastern View won 3-2 in their recent league test against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA)

The Yellow Jackets now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spotsylvania for a Battlefield test on Tuesday, September 24. James Monroe will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to King George (King George, VA). The Knights record now stands at 1-14.
