The Dos Pueblos Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Rio Mesa Spartans to 0 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pacifica for a Channel outing on Tuesday, September 24. Dos Pueblos will play a Tritons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Rio Mesa drops to 6-12 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Hueneme (Oxnard, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 21. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 2-11. Hueneme won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA)
