North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lejeune edged by East Carteret

The Lejeune Devil Pups volleyball squad (Camp Lejeune, NC), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC)

With the win, East Carteret improves its record to 5-9 on the season. The Mariners travel to Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 10-2. Northside - Pinetown lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC)

The Devil Pups now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jones for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 24. Lejeune will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-9.
