In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Warren Central Dragons.

The Wildcats (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Russell County edged Clinton County (Albany, KY), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Warren Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).
