South Carolina High School Volleyball - May River over Hilton Head Island

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting May River Sharks volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Hilton Head Island Seahawks.

The Sharks (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 21-7 record. In their last challenge, Savannah Christian beat Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Seahawks play the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Hilton Head Island will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC).
