Florida High School Volleyball - Lafayette over Union County

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Lafayette Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Union County Fightin' Tigers.

The Hornets (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Newberry (Newberry, FL). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Newberry beat Palatka (Palatka, FL), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Tigers meet the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave (Gainesville, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Blue Wave enter the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Oak Hall (Gainesville, FL).
