North Carolina High School Volleyball - Oak Grove over Montgomery Central

September 19, 2024: Troy, NC 27371

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Oak Grove Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.

The Grizzlies (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Central Davidson beat Lexington (Lexington, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Timberwolves play the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Comets come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
