The Nelson County Governors toppled the visiting William Campbell Generals volleyball squad by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league battle.

With the win, Nelson County improves its record to 1-8 on the season. The Governors travel to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to encounter the Raiders in a Dogwood battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 8-3. Appomattox County won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)

The Generals now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckingham for a non-league battle on Monday, September 23. William Campbell will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
