Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) and the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), observed Robertson County's volleyball team top Nicholas County by a count of 3-1.

The Black Devils (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Powell County notched a victory over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bluejackets battle the Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 21. Nicholas County will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Greendevils enter the contest with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Walton-Verona (Walton, KY).
