Mississippi High School Volleyball - Petal overwhelmed by Northwest Rankin

Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Northwest Rankin improves its record to 15-13 on the season. The Cougars travel to Brandon (Brandon, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a Class 7A Region 3 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 25-5. Brandon won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN)

The Panthers now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl for a Class 7A Region 3 test on Tuesday, September 24. Petal will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 9-16.
