Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) and the visiting West Warriors (Torrance, CA), observed Peninsula's volleyball team hold off West by a count of 3-2.

The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA). The Wolves enter the Pioneer contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Wiseburn- Da Vinci was tipped by Venice (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Warriors battle the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer contest, on Thursday, September 26. West will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record.
