With the win, Valley City improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Hi-Liners travel to Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND) to encounter the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 2-8. The Huskies now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove Lutheran for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Wahpeton will encounter a Grovers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND). The Grovers record now stands at 4-3.
