Centralia Panthers (Centralia, KS) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Onaga Buffaloes (Onaga, KS), 48-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Centralia upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Doniphan West (Highland, KS) to meet the Mustangs in a Twin Valley match on Friday, September 26. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 0-3. Doniphan West lost 33-14 in their recent league match against Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 26. Onaga will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Dragons go into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 26-0 non-league loss to Atchison County (Effingham, KS).
