Utah High School Football - Hurricane triumphant over Dixie

September 19, 2025: St. George, UT 84770

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) and the host Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT), witnessed Hurricane's football squad wallop Dixie by a tally of 49-2.

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pine View (St. George, UT). The Panthers enter the 4A Region 9 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Pine View was trounced by Snow Canyon (St. George, UT), 35-21, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Flyers battle the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 bout, on Friday, September 26. Dixie will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 42-7 league loss to Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT).
