The Jericho Jayhawks football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Valley Stream Central Eagles to 20 in the Jayhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Jayhawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to MacArthur for a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, September 27. Jericho will clash with a Generals squad coming off a 24-21 league loss to Mepham (North Bellmore, NY). The Generals record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Valley Stream Central drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to New Hyde Park Memorial (New Hyde Park, NY) to clash with the Gladiators in a Section 8 Conference II test on Saturday, September 27. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 0-2. New Hyde Park Memorial lost 28-27 in their recent league test against East Meadow (East Meadow, NY)
