The Dutch (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, IA). The Wolves enter the 4A District 4 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Marion was nudged by Mason City (Mason City, IA), 29-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Comets encounter the Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) in a 4A District 5 bout, on Friday, September 26. North Polk will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 45-7 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA).
