The Romeoville Spartans overwhelmed the host Joliet Central Steelmen flag football squad by a margin of 38-0 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Argo for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Romeoville will meet a Argonauts squad coming off a 19-12 league win over Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Argonauts record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Joliet Central drops to 1-12 on the campaign. The Steelmen travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 8-3. Homewood-Flossmoor won 69-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL)
