The Durango Demons triumphed over the visiting Battle Mountain Huskies softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Demons meet the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Durango will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.

The Huskies (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record.
