The Hobbs Eagles topped the host Goddard Rockets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Fort Sumner Foxes/Vixens (Fort Sumner, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Hobbs will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record.
The Rockets (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Artesia gained a win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
