Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Blue Ridge moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to meet the Caissons in a Blue Ridge Athletic test on Monday, September 22. The Caissons come into the test with a record of 2-3. Fishburne Military lost 9-1 in their recent league test against The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA)

The Gryphons now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hargrave Military Academy for a Blue Ridge Athletic test on Tuesday, September 23. New Covenant will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 14-0 league loss to The Covenant (Charlottesville, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.
