In Friday's league outing, the visiting West Wendover Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Churchill County Greenwave.

The Wolverines (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros go into the 3A Northern - East outing with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Fernley was tipped by North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA), 4-0, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Elko for a 3A Northern - East test on Saturday, September 20. Churchill County will clash with a Indians team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Debbie Smith CTE Academy (Reno, NV). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.
