In Friday's league outing, the visiting Elko Indians soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Fernley Vaqueros.

The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave go into the 3A Northern - East test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Churchill County by Truckee (Truckee, CA), 10-0, in a non-league test.

The Vaqueros now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host West Wendover for a 3A Northern - East test on Saturday, September 20. Fernley will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to White Pine (Ely, NV). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-7.
