With the win, College Prep improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to The Bay School (San Francisco, CA) to face the Breakers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Breakers go into the test with a record of 4-12. The Bay School won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Drew (San Francisco, CA)

Next, the Owls meet the Fremont Christian Warriors (Fremont, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Athenian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA).
