Texas High School Volleyball - Wharton bounced by Bay City

Bay City Blackcats (Bay City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Blackcats (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Exporters come into the 4A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 9-9 record.

Next, the Tigers meet the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Wharton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 29-4 record after their 3-1 league win over El Campo (El Campo, TX).
