Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Tuttle Tigers (Tuttle, OK) and the visiting Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK), observed Tuttle's volleyball team hold off Blanchard by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (20-17) will now prepare for their contest against Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Crossings Christian was tipped by Community Christian (Norman, OK), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Blanchard will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Racers enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK).
