The Bowie Pirates topped the host Rivercrest Rebels volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Pirates play the Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a 2A Region III District 17 outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Bowie will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 16-13 record after their 3-1 league win over Clarksville (Clarksville, TX).

The Rebels (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Maud (Maud, TX). The Cardinals go into the 2A Region III District 17 game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Maud was dropped by Detroit (Detroit, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
