The Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 23-6 record. They play next when they travel to La Marque for a 4A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Sweeny will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Brazosport drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Exporters host El Campo (El Campo, TX) to battle the Ricebirds in a 4A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Ricebirds enter the contest with a record of 17-10. El Campo lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Needville (Needville, TX)
