Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) and the visiting Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX), observed Fulshear's volleyball team hold off Episcopal by a count of 3-2.

The Chargers (23-8) will now prepare for their contest against Alief Taylor (Houston, TX). The Lions enter the 6A Region III District 20 contest with a 5-20 record. In their last battle, Alief Taylor was edged by Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a Southwest Prep - South battle on Tuesday, September 30.
