Marion Black Knights (Marion, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Black Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rochester (East Rochester, NY). The Bombers come into the Section 5 Wayne County challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, East Rochester lost by York (Retsof, NY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Panthers play the Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Gananda Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Marauders go into the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY).
